Decorative woodchip
Decorative woodchip this is non-composted woodchip, which has no leaf matter in it and is much larger than the composted woodchip as it is a much coarser product. This is the product that is commonly used as a playground surface as it takes longer to decompose than other products.
Biomass woodchip
Biomass woodchip this is also produced by us using a Heizohack HM5-400 PTO wood fuel chipper and is suitable for most woodchip boilers. We have various screens so can provide various grades and are able to provide a moisture content of below 30%
Mulch
Mulch (composted woodchip) we always have a stock of this available, which has been composted and turned frequently for at least 6 months It is ideal for laying onto borders, flower beds and spreading around newly planted trees. It has the ability to keep in moisture and suppresses weeds. When mixed in with soil it is an excellent soil conditioner adding nutrients, aiding drainage and lightens the heavy clay soils.
